Gretna, Va. – Campbell County selected Gretna-based Blair Construction to complete $47 million in renovations for Brookville High School.
“Blair Construction is honored to receive the Brookville High School renovation project,” said Timothy Clark, president of Blair Construction. “We take great pride in building facilities that support strong communities, and the revitalized Brookville High School will do just that.”
Blair Construction presented its proposal to the local school board and supervisors in June of 2023. The building will be occupied during the phased construction and renovation with all renovations complete by 2025. Project highlights include a relocated dining venue, modernized classrooms, a new main entrance, enlarged student services/administration areas and a new gymnasium.
“Expanding educational opportunities in our region through sound, high-quality construction is central to our mission,” Clark said. “We look forward to creating a campus where generations of students will learn and grow.”
The Brookville High renovations follow Blair’s construction of the new Rustburg Middle School building. Both projects are funded by Campbell County’s financial plan, which uses county meal tax revenues to support capital projects within the public school system.
Brookville High School is the latest in a number of educational construction projects for Blair. The firm has also built and renovated a wealth of schools, municipal buildings and recreation centers across Virginia.
